The International Make-Up Artist Trade Show is the biggest makeup convention out there. Thousands of make-up artists, vendors and enthusiasts discuss, display and collect the best the industry has to offer. Make-up pros from fashion and film (including Oscar, BAFTA and Saturn award winners) provide education and demonstrations at IMATS, and new products often debut there.
The show is held six times annually—in London, UK in January; New York, NY in April; Los Angeles, CA in June; Vancouver, B.C. in July; Sydney, Australia in September and Toronto, Canada in November.
Long story short, you get discounts on makeup brands, (Urban Decay, MAC, Make Up For Ever, etc) makeup lessons, meet beauty gurus, and have a great time!
I will be attending their Pasadena (LA) location this Sunday, June 24th and can't wait!
Tickets are typically cheaper online, if, you purchase them early. However, If available, you can buy them at the door at the time of the event.
